They always go really cheap on ebay, usually ($15-40). The locks themselves will go a lot cheaper, even, ($5-15) if they're not mounted. I know a guy who'll sell you those nice professional looking black mounts you see, let me know if you're interested in getting some and I'll see I can't look him up for you (found him through ebay, nice guy).

Oh! You're a lockie aren't you? Ok, well those mounts come from Lockmasters, so you should be able to just get an account with them and get them. The guy I was talking about was a lockie and he would just order them for me from Lockmasters and give them my address as the shipping address (I know this because when I recieved the box with the mounts the return address was Lockmasters  ).

As far as I'm aware, Lockmasters sells to anybody. But as I'm putting in a rather large order this week, I've gone through every one of their catalogues-- I don't remember seeing those black mounts.

Where to get the locks for them though? Is this some standard form factor? And what about professional labeling.

Ebay Ebay Ebay.

Nice, new, 6730, and I guarantee you it won't go for over $15, and I'd be surprised if it even went for more than 10:

Just take it and stick it on a nice mount, ta-da.

Look, here's a nice antique Mosler in great condition, it would look awesome mounted on something nice, like a nice piece of polished Mahogany or English Oak:

A nice Diebold:

Oh, you have to get an 8077 or 8088, too. That's required if you collect locks like me, and, like me, are uber-1337 :D

Just go to ebay and search for: 'sargent greenleaf' 'sargent (lock, padlock)' 'diebold' 'mosler' 'safe lock' 'yale safe lock' etc etc etc. You get the picture.

Oh, and keep an eye out for these; there's a guy on ebay that posts 2 or 3 locks like this at a time occassionally, I paid $15 for this new Ilco factory cutaway, already mounted:

http://www.lockpicking101.com/viewtopic.php?p=155443#155443

I see him putting up new, mounted, 6730's, 6730 factory cutaways, Diebold 3330's, etc. so watch for those if you want nice, new, professional looking (factory cutaway, IOW, as opposed to amateur cutaway) samples of safe locks for customers to look at.

I get the sneaking suspicion that Lockmasters is where he's getting these, so they would have them, but I could be wrong.
