Thermite is a mix of some stuff that shouldnt be posted on here bnut im sure it can be found on the tinerweb,

It is lit and then it burns very very hot and likes to melt whatever its placed on except i dont think it actually does anything to locks or such like,

I could be wrong but i think its more of a school kids experiment in chemistry class than anything else, i had never heard of it until i came here and i used to work in a explosion and flame labotory for over 10 years so it cant be that useful,

Again im sure ill be correcterd but lets keep the recipe off site please,

Thermite is an incendiary, makes fire, and yes it is very useful in millitary applications. Great for destroying equipment to prevent enemy use. One thermite grenade on an engine block and now you have a large slag paper weight. And for those of you feeling extra frisky lob a couple of thermite grenades in to an ammo storage area, better than the 4th of July
