deadbolts ok to practice on?

Postby pickit_77 » 19 Aug 2006 22:49

I bought a Tradeline deadbolt single cylinder to practice on. Are these ok to practice on? since you dont need to move the bolt until you install it? or should I get a spring one instead?

It doesnt matter really, the only differance once somthing is installed is the pressure required to turn the plug once picked, what you have will be fine,

cant get the plug out. Theres not enough room in the back to put a shim in. How do you know if its a lock you can reassemble the pins in?

You need to host your picture with photobucket and then put the img link in your post to show the picture on here,

and thats not even a proper filename. F:\marko\lock pics.. lol

it would be like this (assuming a newer computer running XP or so)

F:\Documents and Settings\Marko\My Documents\My Pictures\Marko\Lock Pics\picname.jpg

but good try. use photobucket for image hosting, they are good and free and you can easily make/move and just tinker with where your pics are and subfolders and all sorts of good stuff.

photobucket.com (you just have to register, but its free so its fine)

I've seen a few people try to do that, but that was certainly the funniest attempt yet.
