ok, i'll go off that touchy subject and ask another quesetion. can anyone tell me if there is an easy way of picking a union butters system mortice lock?i've got one and finding it difficult to pick with wires
I have never attempted to pick one of these, in fact i've only come across one.
I looked up my old training notes and it says that they can be picked with a 2 in 1 pick.
Thanks for that link. If I ever come across another one I'll try wires.
The training list I was referring to are all tried and tested methods by Paul Boucher of SAS locks, but having said that he did carry the biggest selection of two in one picks that I've ever seen a locksmith carry.
I have to admit if a 2 in 1 will work i prefer them over wires anyday, sounds like a longer talon is needed for these though or rather an unmodified one,
