Problem with rekeyed lock

Hi, i'm new to the forum, but i've been reading this forum for a week or so now,and i thought it was time for me to introduce myself.

Well, my name is dennis and i'm from belgium.
i received my lockpick set a couple of days ago from eyepopper and i'm very happy with it.

I started lockpicking with digital blue's lockpicking exercise.
i worked myself up to 4 pins and 5 pins (easy pin cofiguration)
when when working with 4 pins i always tried to pick as many different combinations as possible( and more difficult combinations)

last comb i picked was : long pin;short pin;long pin;short pin
(i dont know the numbers of the pins but the 2 long had the same lenght,and the 2 short pins had the same lenght to.and there was a big difference between the short one and the long one.)
this was pretty easy to pick.
so a rekeyed it to : long;short;short;long
and i've been having a lot of trouble picking this one.
i have no ID why this one is so difficult.
so i was thinking of rekeying it,but i first have to pick it, witch i dont seem to be capable of.

is there a way to bypass the lock's mechanism


any help would be appreciated (sp?)..

im guessing you have access to the back of the lock.

if so you can shim the lock open by inserting a thin peice of metal between the plug and the cylinder, then you just have to lift the pins one at a time and then slide the metal in until you can turn the plug.
