You can always shim the lock open from the back and take a look. You can also leave pin stacks out when you reassemble it, so you can work your way up to picking it with all of them in place (since it sounds like you're having trouble.)

habo?

Postby raimundo » 17 Aug 2006 10:03

You may have to wait for the other finns on the site to answer that one. I never heard of habo, try using search to find the finns, they were here a while back.

Now it´s time to ask again,
the two yellow marked spots/holes are the ones im talking about,
there are arrows too.
So is are these holes for trap pins?
both different type of locks i have, have these holes/pins,
and they are told to be anti-drill locks.

this may be a wak drawing but it reveals
enough, shape of the lock is somewhat right with the real lock.

O, and these holes diameter is smaller than the
"main" pins holes..

I would say that metal rods go in these holes for drill resistance.

Considering their placement besidres the pins i would guess this is the case. :)

No they dont make any differance to picking, they are only in the lock case and dont protrude into the plug,
