Sorry Shrub it don't happen often.. but you've got it wrong wasps will sting multiple times where as bees leave their stings behind, pulling out their insides, meaning lights out, which is why bees will not sting unless provoked.
Some of our species of bees are under threat of extinction, I wish wasps were. :roll:

Sorry for the d post meant to say though you are right about the signal that they give off. If you give one a wack, make shure you kill it otherwise you'll have another couple hanging around trying to sting you :cry:
