abus diskus 24/60 disappointing

I 've had some noname diskus clones for quite a while and they were all very easy to pick. Now at last i got hold of an original Abus, though its only a 4pin model (24/60).
Very disappointing! The differences to those clones is rather small. Very sloppy tolerances, pins set very easily etc... Is this due to not being the bigger model with 5 pins? Could it be that there are more differences other than the amount of pins?

I mean, afair i've read some statements in here mentioning them as very hard to pick!?

I would have to concur... I have both Master #40 and Abus 26/70 disk-type padlocks and the Master was of course a joke to pick. The 26/70 is larger than the 24/60 but looking at the key it too seems to be just a 4-pin lock.

The German-made Abus, aside from being significantly poorer in terms of fit, finish and downright sloppy build quality compared to the Chinese-made Master was not really any harder to pick either.

I think the only thing the Abus has going for it is the hardened anti-drill plate in front of the keyway...
