Padlock or Deadbolt

I just started lockpicking and i dont know if o should start with a Deadbolt lock or a padlock or something completely different? please help

This is the answer you will most probably get,as some locks you can but also have interchangable pins.Just check out your local hardware shop,they might be able to help you out.

See if ya can get a deadbol;t cylinder on its own, without the extra fittings... I did this when I first bought a lock and it cost less than buying it complete with the extra fitting you don't need.

Ebay is great for locks - you get some dead cheap...

Having looked at Americal locks, I would probably advise Schlage since they seem to be nicely made and would be a good introduction.
