Spring cartridges for upvc door handles

Postby horsefeathers » 14 Sep 2006 9:01

Hi all

Spring cartridges that fit on the spindles on the inside face of some upvc door handles - anyone know where spare sets can be obtained, rather than having to purchase new handle sets? Fullex seem to be one of the few handle manufacturers that produce them but customer (OAP) doesnt want to spend much money. Her handles flop down as a result and look a bit naff. Citysafe nor Duffells carry spares like this although they can be ordered, but the special order tag plus carriage makes them as much as new handles anyway near enough!

regards

DG supplies ( www.dgsupplyline.co.uk ) sent me some along with some spare spindles a few weeks back. Sure they could sort you out, Marc Wickers was the guy who dealt with me. Unfortunately I used these on a job a few days ago or you could have had mine.

Hope this helps,
Nick

I needed one a few months ago, i think they are often found on Yale sets round here,

As it wasnt local to me i instead went to the van and made 2 new cams (the bits that move the springs with the square hole) as it was those that had broken,

Ive seen a few of these but always forget to order a load,
