Hey havent been the site for awhile but I just decided to try a schlage my apartment lock to be exact and i dunno what the deal is but with even slight slight tension i cant move pins. any ideas any idea how i can tell which schlage it is?

ps i saw you digital blue on youtube picking the lock with a banana you do have the link to the actual vid on here somewhere... im sure.

That video was charmingly awkward a quick "banana lockpicking" google search will turn up any number of viewing options.

I bet if you punch 'banana picking' and add the author 'digital_blue' into the search engine, you'll find the vid very quickly.

I'm suprised you can't move the pins at all - I'm guessing the key works?

the key works fine... im guessing security pins of some sort.

as for the video i was wanting a wmv or avi or whatever... i will go ahead and search the forum for it.

Hey But.. try not to use wordslike jew. I understand its you, but in here..as i was warned a lonng time ago.

So your question schlage... i would say take a pic.. but its your apartment.. and this is the internet.. so X that thought out.


Heres what you should do. Do to lowes with a picture of oyur lock.

Try and find one that matches and practice with that. If oyur worried about being locked out.. a locksmith if you buy the deadbolt or knob lock, would be glad to repin to the key you have.

Best of luck. Schlages doesn't ahve an over whelming key way.

If oyu coudl take a clossseee up of just the warding (part where you insert key) that would be fine.
