Cheap Locks!!!

Postby 5thcorps » 14 Sep 2006 15:24

I shop quite often at Big Lots stores and found generic Kwikset deadbolts for only $5.99 they don't say Kwikset but that is the key pattern so I'm sure they're just a generic.
They also had several other locks that were a bit more but still pretty cheap. Good locks for beginners without denting your wallet. They also carry many padlocks for next to nothing.

Yeah, I have special place in my heart for Big Lots. They had Schlage key-in-knob locks (not knockoffs-- the real thing!) for $9.00, and they have different Master knockoffs. Definitely a good place to pick up cheap locks even if their inventory is constantly changing. :D

I check out Big Lot's often too and pick up GUARD padlocks anytime they have them. They also had Master 140's for a buck each. GUARD makes some decent padlocks for the price. They are atleast as good as any Master No 3 and their brass 6-pin with a 3/8th" shackle is a decent lock for the price. I wish GUARD's 4 and 5 pin locks were a little harder to pick, but their 6-pin is harder to open.
