This might be silly questions, but I don't know so I'm asking. When padlocks such as the Chubb Cruiser / Battleship are classed as insurance approved how does this work, is there something you have to pass onto your insurance company to say you've fitted one of these padlocks or what is there to stop people fitting cheaper padlocks then when a claim comes saying they were using an insurance approved one.
Also on the face of the Crusier padlock there are numbers stamped, what are these numbers for if anything.
