Help desperately needed - evva cylinders

Postby horsefeathers » 22 Sep 2006 9:18

Hi guys

Remember me telling you about me possible getting a small contract at a posh girl's school? (no? - )

Can anyone help me out with getting EVVA euro and oval cylinders. They must be a particular profile however to match the rest of the suite. An original key has the code A6**** (* = other numbers obviously) and i know that the HD copy key (code EV6) fits and is ideal.

I have ordered a couple of these from my local supplier but they are gonna be 3 weeks delivery, plus near £30 a pop each.

Anyone know of a better, faster and maybe cheaper supplier of these? But the profile must be exact. A supplier code would be great so I know what to order. I am not going to need loads of these cylinders, just the odd one or two now and again, so maybe one of you has a few lying about for sale? Size and finish isnt too critical, around 40/40. And also a good source of 100x HD blanks EV6 code?

thanks

wayne

Well the JMA equivilent to the EV-6 is the EV-2 and so SKS should be able to sort those out in quantity,

J/K, I really want to know about you!
Before you pick a lock:
The first thing that you should do is check to make sure that
the lock is your's and secondly make sure its not in use.

That maybe true, but the customer reckons they are the easiest fitting (sliding in and out) copy keys that go in his evvas that he has ever had. He has had problems where he had copied 100 or so keys in one batch from local shop, they obviously didnt have all the same brand so mixed brands - cue one row about some fitting and some not sliding in well ('too fat').

Customer likes HD, wants HD and is gonna get HD..... :)

Though will try to get other makes just to see for myself, like silca for example. Got a couple to try from Keyprint coming soon.

regards

PS - anyone got an evva of A6 profile for sale?
