Instant Re-Keyable locks

Postby jgardhouse » 22 Sep 2006 14:15

Spend a while searching, no results that I like

Looking for brands where you can insert a new key, turn it, and BLAM, old keys no longer work...

Mul-T-Lock 3 in 1, for sure.

There was one that someone had posted a sale link in the FSTW forum.. What was the brand? Thread is gonez0r.

What eslse is there???

Thanks,

J

Do a search for Rielda or lynx. 1,048,000 key differs and instantly rekeyable just by inserting the new change key and resetting. No loss of permutations by changing bittings either.

here in the uk, EVVA--A,B,C Vario cylinders supplied with 3 keys.
If key A is lost key B is used and locks out key A, if key B is lost key C is used and likewise locks out Keys A&B.
cost wise is about UK£ 20 in addition to KD cylinder prices.
Hope this is of some use to you

Not nearly as nice as the Rielda or lynx which can be rekeyed infinately without ever taking the lock apart to repin.

This was a while ago, it wasn't the warlocks with promo code, Im sure because I saved the lock description and price in an excel file. So someone definetely WAS selling a DOM ix-10KG 2 in 1, IM just not sure who was selling them.

Zeke brought the Lynx stuff to my attention, VERY cool stuff. In fact, I think I'll start a separate thread on it....*goes off to start a separate thread*

I think rohi posted a tread for some dom cylinders about 2-3 months ago.
If all fails, use nitroglycerine.

on a related subject, i think raccoon was talking about construction keyed locks with multiple sets of construction balls. wherein there could be multiple lockout keys and you once key "B" was used, key "A" is no longer good, and there could be like 3 or 4 keys.

dunno if maybe thats what you were thinking, but that would ultimately be cheaper than any DOM lock i think.

Are they ix-10 KGs? If so, I'm interested (but kind of poor right now).
La Gard 2200s are instantly rekeyable (but you have to put in a change key first)
