Okay, look. I don't mean to sound rude, but you felt this was necessary why? If you want to see a plug spinner in action, show it being used on a lock thats installed and may actually put the spinner through its paces.

Thats the only place you would ever need one anyway, since any unmounted cylinder will pick in any direction. Its the latching mechanism that needs to be turned one direction or the other, and that same mechanism causes so much friction and drag that spinners sometimes do fail.

Well Romstar, you do sound rude. Mounted or not, a lot of newbs show up at this site asking what a plug spinner is and/or does, and I thought a video was a nice way of supplementing the usual explanation or order to "search."

Well, I am sorry if you felt it was rude. So, just to carry on with the theme.

If you made this video, here are some hints.

1. Don't put a light in FRONT of the camera, it shadows everything and makes it hard for the camera to pick up detail.

2. Talk for heaven's sake and tell people what you have and what you are doing. Video is an instructional AID, not a substitute.

Pictures may be worth a thousand words, but if the picture is no good, neither are the words it represents.
