bronze

locks for boats are usually bronze, and the lever tumbler types are the least likely to become jammed by the oxide that will occur on metals near salt spray. I think the dutch make locks specifically for seagoing vessels, I remember that is where some mortise lever locks on a liner I was once on were from.

Abloy, Abloy, Abloy, Abloy, Abloy, Abloy, Abloy, Abloy, Abloy

Oh, and there's one more you might consider: Abloy.

(hint, hint)

It doesnt cover the mortise side of things unless you go for hardware that has screw in cylinders or uses a euro style lock,

Is this for the cabin door?

Yeah, that's true but it's no big deal, you just need the mortice housing and the cylinders to put in it once it's installed in the door, euro or mortise whatever your preference--go talk to an abloy dealer and ASK him what he can do for you instead of speculating on what the capabilities may or may not be for that particular system.
