Berlitz makes great books, and living language makes great audio CD's. The only reason I don't get anywhere when trying to learn a language is because I don't have anyone to speak the languages I try to learn with. However its true in every country that women will sleep with men simply because they are foreign. Other than that the sight of a lock opening is universal.
Someday I hope to visit Amsterdam. Then hop a train to oktober fest in germany

Heh, I may see if I can find a language CD in a friend's house (my friends are intrepid world travellers, unlike myself, this will be the first time I leave North America. Very exciting)

I'm actually planning a very big, very open ended move for January, and my friends are suggesting I just emmigrate to the Netherlands Apparently as an American I can just apply in person wherever I'm visiting...
