I talked with my parents over the phone the other day, and I asked if they could send one or two locks, with or without key, that I could play around with!

Wow, I am overexcited, I have´nt had a pick inside them yet, I´ll try ASA I finish this post!

I have no idea what I am up against, do any of you know the "pick quality" of these padlocks?

:D

Before you pick a lock:
The first thing that you should do is check to make sure that
the lock is your's and secondly make sure its not in use.

Well I started out with the Abus, it took me 4 min. the first time, 2 min. the 2. time, and after that, everything from 10 sec. to giving up!
I´ll give it 2 on a 1 to 5 scale, where 5 is the most difficult!

I´m having problems with me Abus, I can´t open it anymore, and I heard someone say serrated pins, so I thought, yeah could be!

There is no sign of spool pins though, if it is serrated pins, it is my first time, and I was wondering if there is a trick, like with spool pins?

To parapilot:

I am sorry, I tryed to help you, but, the link I gave you was not the information you were looking for!

Try THIS

I tryed all day today, to pick the Abus, and only 3.30pm it opens, now it is almost 10.00pm, and the lock just pops open 3 times in a row :P
I did change the wrench though....and the pick too, to be honest :P

.......LOL, I have, in this very moment, decoded the Abus: Light tension, put the pick all the way in, then lift the pick, so pin 1 and 2 goes up, 2 click, then lift the pick the other way, so pin 4 and 5 goes click click, then straight to pin 3, and the lock pops  :? 8)

Only problem now, I need a new challenge!

:D
