PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!

Postby janes1809 » 7 Oct 2006 7:18

Hi.
Can anybody please help me. I am looking for a copy of 3 books that are quite old and seemingly very rare. My husband had a copy of each and unfortunately lost them all when his works van was set on fire recently.
So, the books i am looking for are:
THE ART OF MANIPULATION BY CLYDE LENTZ AND BILL KENTON.
A GUIDE TO MANIPULATION BY SIEVE KING AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST
LOCKS AND SAFES; THE CONSTRUCTION OF LOCKS BY A.C. HOBBS AND EDITED BY CHARLES TOMLINSON.
If anybody can help me out and let me know where i can get a copy of these books i would be eternally gratefull, whatever the price.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Cheers Jane :D

Good luck finding the AC Hobbs book! You might want to go through security.org - Marc Tobias seems to know where to get a lot of that vintage stuff.

Hobbs
Art of Manipulation
And the guide to manipulation seems completely non-existant, are you sure both the name of the book and the author's name are 100%?

"The National Locksmith - Guide to Manipulation", by: Robert Gene Sieveking.

"The Art of Manipulation with Illustrations", by: Clyde Lentz and Bill kenton.

As for the Hobbs book, you are going to be looking for a while.

Guide to Manipulation is still available through The National Locksmith, and the Art of Manipulation should be available through Amazon.

As a last resort, and I hate recomending this, at least two of the books you are looking for are available on the internet as PDF documents. I dislike this method as it robs the authors of their rightful payment for the hard work put into such manuals. If you have no other choice, make an effort to purchase both books at your earliest convenience.
