There are many sites with photos intended for LEARNING, but they are copyrighted, so any use for websites etc would be illegal. Be careful

try crypto.com, search on google, just search around you'll find some. Check out ppls websites too from this site, some pictures are great of home made picks, tips etc.

Do a google search for "greg miller, dp penix, MIT lock picking, lock secrets" (individually).

All of these pages are an invaluable insight into the lockpicking practice.

you may be able to "borrow" images from other websites as long as you give credit and a link to the original website.

Before borrowing, check the site to see if permission is granted to do so. If you're just dl'ing to your hard drive for your own viewing, there shouldn't be a problem, but if you intend to display copyrighted images for others to see, the necessary permission is required beforehand.

This is what I was going to say but my internet messed up and wasn't able to get back on until now.

I wasn't aware of this potential problem until recently when I posted crypto pictures without permission. The owner was really angry about it, and rightfully so. I'm glad I was able to get ahold of him through e-mail and resolve it though.

If you want to post pictures, get permission or just provide a link to the main site where they are located. Just my two cents.

If ure looking for instructional pictures and stuff, howstuffworks.com has a nice section on lock picking with some good pictures. They even took the time to make a little flash thing that shows you, step by step, the setting of the pins in a 5 pin lock. When i first got into it, that flash thing sorta put the whole theory of picking locks together in my head. Might just be me though . . .

no ,your not alone. Howstuffworks.com explains picking very well, and ppl that i teach how to lock picking, I tell them to go there when they get home and read through the site. Pictures are good, but animations are even better.
