my friend has a 90 buick lesabre and he locked his keys in teh trunk... i need to find a way to help him cuz the locksmith said it was 75 dollars just to show up :( i can only pick simple kwiksets and master locks i havent done an auto lock yet due to the fact of the lil trap door thingy that closes over it... also i heard if you mess up you can destroy the lock :( plz any help would be appreciated i attempted with a half diamond and my best tension wrench for 20 mins to no avail... thanks to all of ya who respond or can help...

Automotive questions are restricted to the advanced section.
That being said, it is very unlikely that you would be able to pick a general motors trunk lock with out a lot of practice and a good understanding of the lock mechanism.

Best advise I can give is call the locksmith, pay the price, When you get the trunk open spend the $2.00 and get a duplicate key, you will be glad you did .
