I'm not sure what you meant by that, Romstar. But I'll take a guess. Since the name of this thread is "The Secret to Picking Locks" and since some of LP101s big hitters have been posting here, I'm going to guess that what you meant by the necrophilia remark was:

The secret to picking locks is having sex with dead people?

Nothing is so embarrassing as watching someone do something that you said couldn't be done.

No, I meant that Logosys had originally made the first post on July 28, 2004. That means that this thread was over two years old when someone posted to it again.

We try not to ressurect posts this old. It was dead, in the grave and happily mouldering away.

As for locks, the secret is that there is no secret. Just plain old practice. Over and over again. Let your fingers learn, your muscles and tendons. Increase the sensitivity in your fingers. Let your mind and body just absorb what you are doing so that you can do it over an over again. In the dark, in the rain, with people looking or complaining. Watching TV, or reading a book or anything.

Thats the only "secret". Just plain old practice.

Phew. I don't think I was that committed.

some threads are like classic cars... not much when they started, but they're amazing a few years later.

or they're like fine wine, just getting better with age.

or they're like the socks I just seem to forget to wash every single week. The longer they sit in the bottom of the hamper, the more nauseous I get when I revisit them.

I have a thing where I like to get my say in, regardless of how long ago everyone moved on. A lot of people find it annoying. I'm sorry about that.
keys, we don't need no stinking keys!

Black socks, black socks
The longer you wear them the blacker they get
Sometime maybe I'll think about laundry
But something inside me keeps saying,
not yet, not yet, not yet.......
