Someone has recently posted a pic of a bumpkey attached to a EPG and said it worked but weve not heard anything else since, i couldnt just find the thread last night but if i come across it i will let you know
My personal opinion is that if you have a working pickgun whats the point in converting it to take a bumpkey arangement but each to their own i guess,

You mentioned something about Mul-T-Lock, and I saw the words 'key' and 'foil'--no. This is a common misconception that you can foil-impression Mul-T-Locks thanks to that video of Barry foil-impressioning a dimple lock (I think it was a Dom) from HOPE ('02 was it?). Mul-T-Locks cannot be foi-impressioned because of the telescoping pins. Only dimple locks using solid pins (like Dom) can be foil impressioned.
I've been up all night, someone give me a hand--I'm somehow under the impression that MAYBE the old original Mul-T-Lock system, the Garrison system, used solid, not telescoping, pins and can therefore be foil-impressioned unlike the 7x7 and Interactive--this may be the one exception, but I'll have to wait for someone who's not having a brain fart at the moment to determine this for sure

There is word that they can be impressioned but you need to use a material under the foil, how effective it is i dont know as ive not seen it nor done it myself,
Its all a bit advanced for here anyway and it was simply an auto bumpkey he wanted to know about

Well... It would need a very stiff material, since the inner pins are very thin, and the twisting action employed whilst impressioning would likely ruin it.

Clay, or an RTV silicon. Latex works well too.

I watched the H2K video conference where they introduced the foil technique.
I wonder if it's easy to pick a mul-t-lock with just a pick. I had no success whatsoever I could only pick one while removing 2 pins (4 for that matter if you include the inner ones).
I saw some picks for mul-t-lock, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Right ok, youve had your quesions answered, as i say its getting a little advanced and now picking high security locks are being discussed its no longer suitable for public consumption, i will lock it and leave it here due to the helpful nature of the thread instead of moving it to the advanced section as theres already more than enough tips on picking the MTL's in there,
