Doors and Dyno Kwick Pick...

I recently started to get back into lockpicking and I found one of my old tools lying around...the "Dyno Kwick Pick" lockpick to be precise! (http://www.lockpickshop.com/p-KwickPick.html) Take a look if you don't remember. I've had no trouble getting into basic locks such as file cabinets, master locks, etc...
Anyway, my question is...is it possible to use the rake that is already attached to it to rake door locks? I have been trying it on my apartment but I think I need a better tool for the job. Anyone ever had any luck?

I have no idea, but what's funny is I ran across a site that sells it and that item is a retricted item there! May be it's just lip service, as it can be bought else where with no probs.

The Dyno Kwik Pick is a standard 3/4 rake in a cute package.

Works on any lock that can be raked, including most standard key in knob and deadbolt cylinders.

Raking is good and fun and all... gets the job done quickly... but in all honesty single pin picking is way more rewarding...

if you are serious about picking grab a simple pick set from southord, buy a few different tension wrenches (seriously the tension is like 40-50% of having a successful pick session if not more) and really try and FEEL the pins you are picking.

Oh and don’t pick your house locks. Locks CAN and WILL break if you pick/rake them too often. Don’t pick any locks you depend on for that matter. Believe me all it takes is one bent wafer or one worn pin to really mess with your ability to open that lock... even with a key.
