Help!!! Kaba Electronic Lock

Postby Hamasvjnga » 19 Oct 2006 8:34

I recently purchased an American Eagle Gun Safe with Kaba Electronic Key punch lock. I got it for $200. It sells for $800 to 1200. Downside is that the Kaba lock is Fu#&%** up. I've called several local locksmiths and can't find anyone to fix it for under $400. Not against supporting the local locksmiths, I just want to know if I have any other options.

Any Ideas?

BTW...I can't return the safe and the factory default combo doesn't work.

Thanks

Dave

For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!
