Help please (on hampton 40mm padlock)

Okay,
Finally I got my tools! YEAY! and I just opend a lock I could open with the tools I made its awsome I had to put alot of tension and pick in the middle and kinda let of the tension and pick it and it works every time now! HAPPY!

But

I have this other locks called "Hampton (40 MM)" and it feels like there lil spring in them, its kinda hard. Does any 1 have a trick for this? I dont no any tricks. Just pick 1 by 1.

It feels like I need to put alot of pressure on the lil link thingys.
And it would be nice to no which way it turn...lol (I dont have the key)

It looks like an ordinary padlock to me. A similar type of lock to a Master#1-5. I do feel hesitant to help you because you did not specify why you don't have the key. Try to turn the plug both ways left and right (with a tension wrench) and figure out which way it seems to turn the farthest. On Master locks I find counterclockwise is the best direction. You can do a quick test by doing a quick rake with a diamond pick in both directions and then listening to the number of pins dropping on each side. The more pins dropped on either the left or right side is an easy way to tell. Then just try to single pin pick it with a diamond pick or half hook. Those types of locks are hard to find the correct tension due to the strength of the springs. Relax and add tension slowly while single pin picking. Not much tension is needed even though it may seem it is. Practice is the name of the game.

Ya alright, lol Don't worry I'm not trying to break into something. I'm one of those people that need it in front of me and read what to do. So its here wit me I just found this lock that wasn't even locked, It maybe broken cause I was trying to close it and it was hesitating but then closed. But Ill keep trying thanks!

I just used the rake from my Dyno Kwik Pick...(http://www.lockpickshop.com/p-KwickPick.html) ANd it seemed to do the trick. I'm not sure if I've just gotten better over the years or if it's a simple tool and a fairly simple lock but I would suggest gripping and getting your tension in the usual manner and then raking in once with the pointed end down and if you wiggle it around a bit you usually get it on the first try. If that doesn't work then hold the tension still and rotate it so the pointy end is facing up. Wiggle a bit and feel the tensor slowly start to turn. If that doesn't work then rinse and repeat as the shampoo bottle would recommend. Keep practicing it's not as difficult as you think. There are quite a few tutorials on youtube nowadays you can check out I'm sure.

Raking teaches you nothing. It is almost all luck and no skill. If you must rake it open to prove to yourslef it can be picked. Then go back to a half diamond or small hook. You will be able to pick it more effectively and more consistently.
