Could we expect any less than that  ?
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

Hey Rom,

Thanks for explaining how they work. I stared at the one on lockpicks.com for a while wondering how it kept the pins up, didn't even think about it just spinning it real fast. Will they work in either direction? Do you take the spring off and turn it around to go another direction, or do you maybe have to by one for each direction?

you actually kind of "wind" it first... so you just wind it opposite the direction you want it to spin so the spring tension builds, then press the button to release a burst of plug spinning fury.

If you do not have a Plug Spinner, you can stuff kite spring in the keyway to hold the pins up while you turn the plug. Locks usually pick easiest to the locked position so this simple trick might come in handy.
It is not the pick, it's the picker!
