Hello i have a question i'm trying to put together a good lock picking set i've read the Faqs and i think i got most of the stuff i need i got the 14 piece kit with grips and about 10 other singles the kit didnt have also i got the Spring Steel Picks for Warded Padlocks one hand cuff key and the SJG-10 Auto Jigglers...now my question is is there anything i'm missing? is there anything else i should get?

honestly it depends on how much you want to be picking here...you have everything you need to pretty much pick anything.

my professional oppinion (or whatever) is that you should now buy a few practice locks. either get on ebay and buy some nice padlocks, go to wal-mart get some stuff (dont get deadbolts there they are beyond terrible) garage sales whatever. just buy every lock you can find and pick every time you have a free moment.

I found a plug spinner to be very helpful for key in knob locks that usually are picked counter clockwise. Often it's just so much easier picking them the normal way clockwise but that will only turn the cylinder clockwise and will not unlock the lock. A plug spinner will quickly and easily spin the cylinder counter clockwise fast enough so the pins don't catch.

yeah i recommend making one... they work pretty well

but i do agree... having one is definitely a huge plus. (wether you buy it or make it)
