guy if you stick that a key cut like that into a lock it will not be able to be withdrawn. the straight edges on the back side of the cuts will not allow the pins to raise up out of the way as you try to pul out the key

Ok guys, we realy need to give this kid some help. I have provided a picture of the perfect bump hammer.

All you need is a shotgun shell with bird shot and a wooden handel. Make sure you use the brass of the shell to give the key a good knock.... :twisted:

it helps if you braze the handle to the base of the shell too... the heat from the brazing really hardens the brass makes a great striking surface.

I just wanted to learn to bump because it seems to me that it would be way faster using a modified key rather than holding 2 tools, but i am a practising my picking at the same time...
