Looks like a Nuclear Arms lock!

So I walked into an Army Supply store and asked if he had any locks. He said that yeah, He had one. It was this big boy. If felt like it weighed over two pounds. The key was a Medeco key, but it was stuck in the lock. He said that he remembered having gotten it out once or twice, but it felt really stuck when I played with it. I would have taken more picks, but he was really busy with customers, and didnt want to leave the lock unatended. His price was $175!! A little high if you ask me, though I have no Idea what one of the baby's costs new. If I remember right, It had a half inch bolt in the back of it and he said that you couldn't remove the key when it was in the unlocked position. I was wondering if this was a good deal, And if you think that I could fix the jammed key problem. I dont know how hard it is to take these locks apart, it at all possable. Havent seen one like it before. Let me know what y'all think, thanks,

LOL, I know, I love locks, and I can get those from the stores around here close to me. I'll take a new pick in a few minutes and show you haw much my collection has grown. And to tell you the truth, I dont ever use the Majestic set. I need to get them out more, but I like to single pick more than to just jimmy open a lock. They have worked well when I tried to use them before, but it can take a while to figure out which one works with which lock.,

Yeah, thats the lock,, man, I dont think I'll be buying that lock from that guy, lol. What a ripoff. Oh well, I'm glad I checked in with y'all before I did anything. And I'm posting those new photo's of my set right now, But It seems I've gone a little overboard with my collection. I'm thinking that I may be loosing it, lol,

Yes, that is a hi shear lock or also known as the LaGard LKM1200 I believe. I don't remember the LaGard part numbers exactly though so the 1200 part may be wrong. Great lock, but way too high of a price. Keep your eyes peeled on ebay and you should find one for much cheaper if you want one. They should have 3 keys if complete. 2 operating and one control key. Any operating key can be modified into a control key though so if you find a deal on one with only one or two operating keys don't pass it up. The control key is used to disassemble the lock.
