I've gone insane....

Postby Lucky1406 » 27 Oct 2006 15:08

I was looking at my collection earlier today, And I couldn't believe how many locks that I've collected in just the past 3 months. I started picking Aug. 1st of this year, and already I'm loosing it. I hope my girlfriend doesnt find out how much I've spent on all of this. Well, anyway, take a look for your self and descide if I'm crazy or not, lol,

Actually having that many locks isn't that crazy, what is a little disturbing is that you took the time to line them all up to photograph them in various angles and post here :)

Hehehe... I've *never* had that many locks all at once. I'm sure I've had all that and maybe more through time, but I keep giving them away to new members of my chapter and stuff.

In fact, I came to the realization the other day that my total collection of *basic* KIKs and deadbolts is only about 25 now. Time to go looking for lot sales again I guess.

Awww, I see no Americans.

Yes I have become quite a fan of them lately, one reason is I just got a crap load of them, the brass, blue anodized aluminum and the greyish aluminum ones.

Very nice collection.

Hehe, I have a few gigabytes in photos of locks that I have. Good thing my mom didn't ever figure out I spent $500 on that EVVA kit! And I can't pick any of them, either!

I still didn't bother to post half of them on my website yet. Maybe this will be some motivation!

Have you managed to pick that brinks shrouded yet? (one up, one over, from the bottom left.) That's my newest one, quite the challenge for my meager skills. My first encounter with security bottom pins. The repinnable golden brinks one, I like that one a lot. Do you have a favorite?

My favorite is the Master 140, 141, and 142. They have spools, but easy to pick. All the feel of a security lock but easy once you *master* them. They make me feel like James Bond when I'm having trouble with other locks ;)
