Kaotik: yeah, I have one american lock in that pick. But its a really old lock, and I cant seem to pick it, I think something has gone wrong inside of it. Its very old, and had been left in a shed for over 20 years.
VashTSPD: And yeah, I can pick the brinks shrouded, takes a minute or two, but not too bad. I can pick all of them rather quickly, except for a few. Some of them have locks that are only in the advanced section, so i'm really anxious to get into the advanced section to be able to pick them. And the tubular locks are there so that I can pick them the old fashion way, cuz I dont have a tubular pick yet, thats the next thing that I'm going to get. And as to a favorite..... Well, I love the master 575, cuz that was the first lock that I ever picked. But this new lock that I just ordered of off ebay may be my new favorite. Its a Sargent & Greenleaf 831B. That should be fun to try and pick! lol
Unbreakable: And very nice collection Unbreakable. I would love to have that many door locks.
Schuyler: Yeah, those key groups are blanks, they came with a large lot that I bought off of ebay.

After re-evaluating you photos I found it. Sorry, just didn't see it the first time with just a quick glance.
Hope you enjoy the S&G.

I'd like to get into tubular lock picking, what do you use to pick them with? did you make it yourself? can you post pictures? are they hard or just repedative to pick? where did you get your tubular locks from? are they expensive? how long do they take to pick? are they all seven pin? how does that "bar" looking one lock something up? are there any things to watch out for? are you seeing anyone?
...wait.

Wow Vash, I'll try to answer all of your questions, lol
I just pick it the old fashion way, one at a time, But it resets itself every 1/8th turn, so It takes a lot of picking to get it all the way open. I just use normal picks. Bought them. The pic's of my pic's are on my photo bucket. To pick the whole thing, like 5 min (I’m not very fast with these things). I got the locks from a tractor supply store. They were like 12-20 dollars each. They are used to lock up car hitch covers. They are all 7 pin, yeah. Again, they are used to lock up trailer hitches. They reset very easily. Lol, and my girlfriend was kind of shocked at that last question! lol

What do you use to put tension on the lock? I think I have a really good tubular pick, when I bought my DVD burner it came with a fancy manual drive opener, a skinny straight rod with an L shape or a loop at one end..I forget. So you don't have to fish around for a paperclip when you mess up your drive.
and that shocked your girlfriend? well, then ask her again in a couple months for me, will ya?
I mean...
that last question was a joke

your NOT crazy, of course your girlfriend may think so however Its better your girlfriend find out then say (back me up here guys) your wife If done badly you may end up on the couch for a few nights
IF done really badly you may come home the next day to find everything you own scattered on the front lawn with the house locks changed and what used to be your picks have been cut up with tin snips....Not that this has happend to me, just giving worst case.
You may want to get in to repinning your locks rather then buying more locks, then you could make them as easy or hard as you want.

i endorse fallout... that being said, i believe it is in the best interest of my own entertainment that you buy every lock that you see from not untill your girlfriend finds out. at least one a day i suppose.

Sambob: I would repin the locks, but since I have so many, I can just pick up a lock, and go at it. Its not like I can remember all the pin placements of these locks anyway.
Vash: For the tubular locks, I just use a bent nail that I flatened out, It just happens to fit really well.
And again for Vash: She asked if your cute. lol

The only two in that photo that I can pick are the Abus Discus and the Kaba Gemini (gold-colored mortise cylinder).
