Hi, I was wodnering if Ideal Creations was a reputable company. I purchased a pick set from them a few days ago, and they have not called or e-mailed me back. their business hours are from 8:30 to 3:30 every day of the week. They have the add on top of the lp101 home page for 12 lockpicks for $18.95. Does anyone know if i can trust them? :?:

i got the keychain lockpick set from them. if i remember right, it did take quite a while to come, but the device is a nice one, other than the tool cover which is basically a piece of shrink wrap plastic that tends to fall off after a while, causing you to lose the tension wrench...any ideas on a better device to secure the tool? i thought maybe a rubber band...

Don't forget that the ads are just populated by google. Not official sponsors, so please don't think that just because their ad appears here, they're legit or good.

Not saying that they're not those things, but a lot of the ads are a bit sketchy.

I bought the same device and noticed the same problem occured with the sheath that holds the tensioner. What I did was disgard it and replace it with a new piece of heat shrink tubing slightly larger than the diameter and shrink it with a pencil torch (a lighter will work too), and covered the smaller screw that is below the pick retaining screw with the nut. I have had no more problems out of it sence. Though I don't use it that much and bought it just to have.

I see no problem with wrapping a rubber band around it if it works, but may get a bit tiresome of having to wrap and unwrap it over again.

I can post a picture of the original and the one I replaced it with if it helps.

Oh, and about how long did it take it to ship.................? Not to be overly jumpy, but i don't like things that take a long time to happen, I'm not a very patient person when it comes to the mail

It must have been some kind of ordering mix-up or something, I got that keychain in like a week and a half.

How many others have had this long waiting problem?

I seem to have more of an issue with the quality of their products rather than the shipping time.

What company did they ship it through; UPS, FED EX, DHL............ I'm trying to get the shipping # from them. Were you able to track it from when they said it was shipped?

Mine was shipped via USPS with standard shipping. With this method it is sometimes difficult to track, unless I went through UPS or FED EX ect. to recieve it in a shorter time like priority or express shipping, then I would have gotten a tracking #.

I was in no rush to get it, so USPS was good for me.
