combination lock

Information about locks themselves. Questions, tips and lock diagram information should be posted here.

combination lock

Does anyone have a recommendation for a commercial grade combination lock?
Is there such a thing?
Does the Sargent and Greenleaf qualify?

Is there any good locks from Europe?

Any web site or information would be greatly appreciated.

Some research on this matter would be great, but to give you an answer: S&G = very good.
For as far as I know, Europe hasn't got a producer for combo locks, but you might try ABUS, see what they have.

Looks like Abus has locks that they describe as Low to Medium security.

However, nothing high security.

I sell a lot of ABUS locks, what can I say.
It's a decent brand, much better than, say Tri-circle, or Master lock. (Based on personal opinion and opinions of fellow forum members).
Sargent & Greenleaf has got, by far, the best reputation, but eventually, one has to look at the features.

If i had to make a choice, It'd be S&G. but darn, those can have a very steep price tag.
It's allways good to look at auctions at EBAY, but, to withstand the easiest padlock bypasses, go for one with a shrouded shackle.

I'm off to work now, I'll be back within 5 hours, if you still need me then, whistle and i'll look at this thread.

Yours,

Jordy
