I had 2 other calls so I proceeded to them when the customer calls back wanting to know if I would come back and help them get in. I told her that I would but it would be 1 1/2 to 2 hours before I could get back and she said that she would wait.
Being in the area I was in and having to go back a second time I decided I wasn't going to jack around with it. I was going to bump it and be done. After getting her in she said that the lock was not unlocking correctly and that was the reason she was locked out. I ask to see the key to check the lock and was shocked to see it was a 6-pin key and I had used a 5-pin bump key.

Has anyone tried bumping 6-pin locks with a 5-pin bump key or do you think this was just a fluke?
