I was just wondering how many members there are here in colorado and if they would like to get together this summer and pick a few locks and burn some burgers. Some time this summer we could have the first annual Colorado Pick-nic

Hey, I'm in Colorado with a few friends who pick. We aren't hardcore, but we do play around a bit. A lot of folks from the different security groups are also into lockpicking here. What part of Colorado?

I'd be very interested in meeting others with an interest in lockpicking, lock history, locksmithing, etc. It's a fascinating field. I'm in the Denver-area (that's Aurora).
FYI: The Mile-High Flea Market is a great place to find old locks, padlocks, key machines, and general tools.

Summer is almost over. I'd like to meet other interested pickers--see different homemade picks, swap some locks, and maybe start some sort of monthly meeting. How about it?
Everybody knows others who are interested, but haven't signed on here yet. We should invite them also.
PM me if interested. I was thinking the Denver area might be the only place that is central to everyone.

It's a bit of a drive, but if there were enough people interested, I'd come up. I'm about 520 miles South in centeral New Mexico.

You know, the Colorado 2600 meeting takes place in downtown Denver at 2:00pm on the first Saturday of every month. There are several people in that group who are into locksport. Perhaps some of you who want to meet should go there to do so.
I can't make it personally, because I work nights and sleep until 3:30pm every day.

What's the Colo 2600? I never heard of them. I'll try a "google" to see what they do.

2600 is an age-old hacker group.

The Colorado 2600 meetings take place at the Borders Cafe, located at the intersection of Parker and Arapahoe.
They meet on the first Friday of every month at 5:00 p.m.
Not being in the computer security biz, I actually had to ask some friends about this group.
