even though the auction says he will ship to the US, when i asked about the shipping, he claims it to be UK only. :cry:

He was probably talking about the shipping CHARGES that are listed in the auction; in other words, he'll ship it to you but you'll have to pay more for the shipping that whats listed on the auction page because those shipping charges are only for the U.K.

Yeah, I was gonna say it's kind of hard to 'accidentally' list an auction offering shipping to somewhere you don't want to ship. I'd bid on it if I were you.
