ok i have bought the skeleton keys for warded lock i have bought some and have been able to open them but the one i really want opened i cannot open it is also a warded master lock i found a video on youtube it is the same lock and he can open it and i cant he says ther are some that will just not open with skeleton keys what else can i do?

for the fun of it the challenge nothing better to do..i own a ranch and i have 10 entrances when i bought the locks they only gave me two keys i bought them from this guy and a local mom and pop shop. i lost the keys once and he charged me an arm and a nut to open them ...you can ask your self why not just cut them and buy new ones.....i can afford it trust me i can....but i like a challenge...love it... someone mentioned to me why not learn how to pick em.....so i started reading and bam here i am

so now that you have the break down

how about giving me some

i've never come across a warded padlock i couldn't open. i made my warded pick from a master warded key, just filed down all the teeth except the last one, and shaved the flat sides so it's flatter and fits into other locks as well. to use it, i just move the key in and out, and keep turning. eventually the lock will open.

Also try pulling on the shackle sometimes they stick .

For some padlocks, the mechanism is too far to the edge that standard warded picks can not reach it. When that happens get some bent wire, usually works after a while

Get a key blank and impression a new key. For a warded padlock it can be done in about 10 minutes.
