I recently purchased a BKS padlock--without a key. The lock is silver in color--probably steel. It has the number "540" which I presume is the series or model number. According to www.g-u.de this padlock isn't made anymore.
It has a YA1/BKS10 keyway.
So far it has resisted SPP and raking. The keyway size/shape doesn't seem to be the problem, there is enough room to get smaller picks in and maneuver. However, since it's a euro lock, I presume it came from the factory with evil spool drivers. I don't see the cylinder turning slightly--which normally indicates spool drivers, but I'm sure they are there. So far it has resisted me!
Has anyone else seem a padlock from BWS with this keyway?
