Need help With homemade Picks

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

I still don't have a grinder, but it's easy enough to make a falle (one that dips in the center) style pick and a half dimond on a grinder. There's also ordering some online from one of about four sites. Explain things to your parents, maybe they'll do it for you.

I'm 17, so mot much older than you. I made my lockpicks out of nails, but my first set was a random safetypin and a bent piece of metal. Not the best, but if you can do it with those, it pays to be able to improvise!
Other wise, I took the Nails and a hammer and flattened them until I could fit them into the keyway easily, then filed them down until the work as picks + wrenches. I suggest at least a 2" nail, and try to get the thinner ones that are still strong.
