Good Evening,

Can anyone help with information regarding registration for locksmiths in Canada? ( particularly Newfoundland, Canada)

Regards

No registration required other than the standard business license and insurance, etc. 8)

I opened a business just over a year ago- I don't install, I just sell to large corporations, (mostly gov't tenders) so I didn't need the insurance. I also checked this with my lawyer first, who said no problems, as long as I was not installing/ servicing.

If you are doing any type of installing/ servicing or direct sales, don't forget the insurance!

if you're looking for information on the where's and whyfore's, try yellowpages.ca, or a google search. better Business Bureaus often have that kind of info as well
