Heyho all
This is my first post
I have a question about a Burg Waechter padlock. Is this padlock pickable? I recently bought it for practice purpose but I am not sure if its doable.
If anyone knows i would be happy to get an answer.
Heres a pic of the lock
Nice evening to all

It has a double steel ball security mechanism. Does this mean its pickproof?

the doble ball mechanism makes it so you cannot shim it.
No mechanical lock is 'un-pickable' so yes a person can pick it.
I'm not familar with it so I'll go research it and come back to you on the dificulty level

from what I have read the only thing that might be issue is the fact that I believe it has a restrictive keyway
... good luck

what does the key look like, that could give some indications of what the mechanism is.

It has a keyway that makes it hard to move the pick properly, and it is manufactured using low tolerances.
Yes it can be picked, but it will probably be frustrating, and you might want to postpone the lock...
Cheers,
mh

Hmm? That's considered restrictive? Most of my locks are like that, I thought it would be an average keyway. That looks similar to yale.

Hey,
I may be a bit late on this one, but heck.
Burg Waechter locks have security pins.
The basic padlocks have around 3 spool pins or so.
Considering the one you have got....
I don't know, it could have anything.
