That's where the creativity part comes in. Even though the original King and Queen were designed for the Yale series pin tumbler locks, the template I provided is actually shaped to cover a wider variety of cylinders.
Bear in mind these ARE still picks, and as such they still partially rely on the same dynamics. Tension wrench, shear line, setting driver pins, etc.. In some very rare instances you CAN just stick in the pick and the lock will turn, but that's exceptionally rare.
So I am working on making these picks cover a wider variety of locks.
The only restriction to using these tools is the keyway. I have seen some european keyways that would be difficult to insert a King or Queen into without some effort. I know it would certainly restrict the movement of the pick in the standard figure eight motion.
At this stage I am still debating as to whether or not I smooth them out like the HPC Comp-U-Picks or whether I leave them angular such as the Majestic set and the original King and Queen. Each option has its advantages and disadvantages. There is the remote possibility that I will design each, and see if there is a reason to manufacture each type, or if one style is more effective than the other.
