HELP, legality issue for minors

OK here is the deal, I AM a minor (GASP...) and I was about to buy some lock picks from the lockpickshop and I had to put my name in this box and agree so I read the agreement thing like everyone does . and it said and quote

U.S.C. Title 39 Section 3002a of the US Postal Code specifies that locksmith tools can be shipped via mail only if the buyer can certify that he/she/it can be truthfully regarded as one of the following: A bona fide locksmith, a bona fide auto repossessor, a licensed car dealer, a lock manufacturer, a motor vehicle manufacturer.* By placing your order on our website, and by indicating your agreement of these terms before ordering, you are electronically signing this agreement and certifying to us under penalty of perjury that at least one of the above classifications pertains to you. In the absence of this assurance, LockPickShop (LPS) will not ship to you.



so is it safe for me to order them? because the is the only thing I am worried about is...will i be caught?
Just kidding but, is it illegal for me to have them and to use them on my own locks.

Oh and if you know the state laws I live in Oklahoma

Same question, i am also under 18. Others say to go to Southern Ordnance but under Buyer Responsibility it states:
By placing an order, the buyer asserts that the products ordered will be used in a lawful manner and that he/she is of legal age. By placing an order for locksmithing tools, the buyer asserts to be, without fraud or deception, a bonafied member of the locksmithing industry, or other qualified personnel.

many people here have purchased picks from the lockpickshop.com. i think it just depends on your state if it allows the possesion of picks for pritvate use. so its a risk but a minor one if you ask me.

minors can not bind them selves into a legal contract, so you have nothing to worry about.

This is a difficult question. If it is not possible for you be legally bound to the contract you should have no concern about the perjury charge. If the vendor ships to you there should be great concern. I assume that none of the classifications in t39s3002a applies to you except "buyer", and if this is the case and the vendor does ship, then the vendor is at fault for not complying with the postal code. Disregarding that, what exactly is considered a "locksmith tool" by the postal code anyways?

if you buy from southern ordnance and use a money order, they are goinn to ask for copy of license or ID to show proof of age, but if you use credit card/check, then no proof of age.
