Postby flaming jag » 17 Nov 2006 21:40

I'm sorry for this but i can't seem to find the guide to disassemble a padlock. I've seen many but can't seem to find one. Can anyone post a link of the guide.

thanks for the help

It depends, what type of padlock is it?

Model number or better yet a pic would help.

it's a lockwood and has 110/35 engraved into it and it also has a hole at the bottom of the lock.

The hole is for drainage I believe, that or for oiling.

From here- http://www.lockweb.com.au/infoCentreDoc ... dlocks.pdf

I got this Image

It looks like an ordinary brass padlock. Open it, and look down the shackle hole for a screw. If you see one, undo it, and the core should drop out.

There's no mention of it having a removable core, so I doubt this will be the case.

So, Illusion wrote a good guide on how to construct a tricircle repinnable padlock, although the guide should apply to you lock as well as many other locks similar too it.

Its here- viewtopic.php?t=10665
