Hi i need help.. what type of lock is this padlock?

Hi my friend has got this padlock off of his dad after he quit doing his own buisiness and no longer needed the padlock anymore so his kid uses it on his locker (the best padlock ever)

i not got a picture but i drew what its like.. i wanted to know how i am meant to pick it, and waht tools are best to use ...



The dark grey lines on the padlock represent how the lock is made,, it makes it awkward to put a tension wrench in there. [/img]

You stated in your post that your friend has the lock on his locker. Nobody here will tell you how to open it.

oh ok i understand..

but he takes it off so i can pick it though ... i even have a spare key to it ( i go halfs with the locker fee every year )

its just i wanted to know what type of lock it is ..

yeah the key has got two sides of teeth

like a double sided key...

is it a double wafer lock?

is there sucha thing as a double pin tumbler?

i am constantly saving peoples padlocks from the deadly caretakers boltcroppers every year (dumbarses leave there keys indoors)

this lock is a challenge and my friend did a £5 bet with me that i cant pick it.. lol ill show him but he is giving me only less than 5 mins to do it in in order to win the bet,,

shall i start on the top or bottom pins first..

you need to post a picture of the lock itself, that YOU took. when its not on anything. then maybe some people will help ya....

This is just a guess, but I'd bet $5 it takes more then 5 minutes to pick that lock on a first try...
Also, even if your friend says you can pick it or not, Don't pick locks you rely on!
If you accidently break a part of the lock then put it on your locker without realizing it, the key might not work. I have one lock that happened to! (I don't know how, but it did)
