Yes i am a superb locksmith.

i have to say that because it is true

i can honestly say that i havent drilled a lock for 3 years.

i can do access control, i open safes, i upgrade safe locks for all the bluechip companys on every high street.
i design lockpicks and safe picks.
i dont have to mention that i can pick all cylinders and mortice locks because to me this is basic locksmithing.
i am way past this level.
yes i know it all and yes i mess around on here because it bores me with the repetativeness of it all.
i am the greatest and i know it.
you all hate because you do too.
oh excuse me i have to go now and and change the levers on a safe due to a disgruntled employee leaving a company.

Do you charge by the hour, or by the job? If by the job, you must be in the red. First off, high securtiy locks, while not pick proof, are more of chance than skill. I am sure some will disagree with that statement. But honestly, I don't know any locksmiths that would really consider trying to pick a medeco, primus, assa, etc. before drilling. Yeah sure they can be picked, but in what amount of time.

At that consider normal cylinders, not always easy to pick. Heck I had a kwikset I couldn't pick, and determined not to have to drill a kwikset I impressioned to learn the cuts were 15151.

Maybe you don't pick to many locks, that is why you don't drill. Or perhaps you turn down any jobs that aren't kwikset. Or perhaps you walk away from jobs you can't get picked.

Perhaps you go the route of one of a locksmith around here, if he can't get a knob picked, he cuts off the knob with a sawz-all....technically it is not drilling.

Anyhoo, if you can share with me how to pick an abbloy disk lock, I would appreciate it.

Hi all,
Its really sad when a locksmith needs to slag another locksmith off, quickpicks I dont know who you are yet and you are not related to me as you claim, its quite sad you need to use my name as a reference but on the other hand it could mean you think im good at what I do although I dont have to prove it to anybody or shout about it unlike some.
You say you did warrents with Roger whom I know from Gemini security as we met at an MLA show, maybe I should ask him who you are?.
You say you are being under cut on the warrent work with a days warrants down to £125.00 per day, so why the hell are you working for Richburns when so many company's are paying £170 or £180 per day, its the likes of people working for such companies that are pushing the prices down, if everybody goes to the higher paying companies the cheap skates will have to up the prices and pay proper wages.
I guess a lot of people on here also work for reactfast etc great way to get experience but it is cutting everybody's throat at the same time. Richburns, Reactfast etc are for people starting out that want experience without outlaying for advertising or can't be bothered to get the work. Most locksmiths I know have there own contracts which they have spent time developing and building up as part of there business, its not just about picking locks on call outs and if you think thats all being a locksmith is all about you will not have a business for long.
Warrent work will not last either with the new meters being fitted now which can be controlled remotely, you need to diversify as the industry is changing rapidly, we also do access control which is being undercut by alarm companys which make the money on maintenance contracts which doesn't matter to me as we also cover nationwide safe opening, refurbishment, installation etc you have to if you want to run a business.
One man band locksmith businesses will be a thing of the past in a few years unless the locksmiths change the way its going as its being taken over by the national company's paying peanuts and locksmiths keep working for them, maybe im wrong in my personal views and if you think I am lets here about,.
This could be an excellent forum site for locksmiths but while its still has a few muppets on the site my posts will still be few and far between.
