DUDLEY LOCKS HARD BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE...IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING
IF YOU PULL ON THE LOCKS AND TURN, IT GETS TRAP AT 2 OR 3 DIGITS INTERVALS THE NUMBER AT THE TWO ENDS OF THE TRAP IS THE MECHANASM NUMBERS AND IT TURNS OUT THERE ARE 20 NUMBERS ON THE DUDLEY LOCKS NOT 60.... AND THEY ARE MULTIPLE OF THREE FOR ALL DUDLEY LOCKS eg. 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30....57, AND 0
DON'T BELIEF ME TRY IT FOR YOURSELF
FOR EXAMPLE - LOCK COMB. ---- ACTUAL COMB.
25-5-17 24-6-18
44-22-27 45-21-27
56-35-44 57-36-45
TRY IT
TOTAL COMBINATION IS 20x20x20=8000 COMBs
IF YOU KNOW THE LAST NUMBER THAT NUMBER COME DOWN TO 400
THERE IS A PATTERN TO THE DUDLEY COMBINATION... THE SECOND NUMBER IS USUALLY TO THE LEFT (smaller) OF THE FIRST NUMBER
eg. FIRST NUMBER IS 30 THE 2ND NUBMER IS 0-30 (0,3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27) USUALLY
THE 3RD NUMBER IS THEN TO THE RIGHT (bigger) OF THE 2ND NUMBER
THERE IS A FAST MECHANISM TO OPEN A DUDLEY AND I WILL EXPLAIN IT LATER WHEN YOU ARE CONVINCE OF THE FACT THAT DUDLEY HAVE ONLY 20 NUMBERS NOT 60 NUMBERS

Oy! See that key right next to the "A" on the homerow? HIT IT. If you look at the light next to NumLock, it should go out. If you can't distinguish capital letters from lowercase on the screen, I suggest you refer to the light above Caps Lock.
You don't need to yell. Thanks for the info.

Just for everyone,
Many combination locks have a fairly large dialing tolerance.

I've a Dudley lock in my hand.
I understand exactly what you mean.
Before I saw your message, I've spent one day in examining it.
There's relatively large tolerance in the combination lock. and I've discovered the operation of the combination key inside the lock. But I still don't have any fast method to crack it yet.
Would you share your fast method?

I'm new, but I found a shoe box of old locks *literally* and I don't know any of the combo's so care to share this faster method?
I have one with me here, I know the combo and I understand your whole 3 to 1 number concept.
THERE IS A PATTERN TO THE DUDLEY COMBINATION... THE SECOND NUMBER IS USUALLY TO THE LEFT (smaller) OF THE FIRST NUMBER eg. FIRST NUMBER IS 30 THE 2ND NUBMER IS 0-30 (0,3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27) USUALLY

Isn't the case for this particular lock, 04-40-28 Thank god for the word 'usually' eh
