The pins in the bible have pressed themselves into the bottom of the keyway. So, stick something flat in to press the pins back downward, into the bible, and the lock should turn. If it doesn't turn at that point? Well, that's pretty crazy, then. Anyhow, just in case you don't see what I'm saying, you don't want to do anything to the pins you've already manipulated, you want to move the "top" pins

Oh, thats easy.

Slide the flat edge of your pick into the lock on the bottom to push the driver pins back down all at once, and continue turning with a tension wrench.

good stuff, and you understand why that happened/why you weren't able to place a key back into the lock?

looks like the plug is spun a full 180... try putting the end of a tension wrench in the bottom of the keyway and push down, and try and spin the plug while pressing down on the tension wrench.

basically what has happened is the driver pins have lifted into the plug slightly because the plug is totally spun around, and there is usually a notch in the bottom of the plug. if you can get something in the lock to press them back down then you should be able to spin the plug.

I can't say I have ever taken a video game to the loo.

Come to think of it, we don't even keep magazines in there for just that reason.

Now, a coffee break I can understand, but not 20 minutes on the john playing Zelda.

You don't need to push the key pin's (the pins you picked) you need to push the drivers. Get the long flat section of your tention wrench and push it into the lock all the way and push DOWN to take the driver pins (in the lock body) out of the barrel.
